Dealing with Chronic Lyme: Seeking Advice and Recommendations

I've been dealing with chronic Lyme for years. Only officially diagnosed in 2020 after years of "we aren't quite sure why you're sick". My current Lyme doctor is at a loss as to what to do with me. I'm deathly allergic to multiple antibiotics so our options are limited. Tired herbal with no success. Any suggestions and/or specialists you'd recommend? I'm willing to go anywhere in the US to get the right help, but am based in the northeast.

I can definitely relate. First off, I’m sorry about what you’re going through. I know it’s incredibly tough. What helped me most was finding a chronic Lyme specialist and limiting activities that were too much for me to handle. This is gonna sound cliche, but taking it day by day helped me a lot as well.

I see a Lyme specialist in Houston, Tx. I am also allergic to antibiotics so I am getting treatment with a medication that they are still testing to heal lyme (but the medication is safe, they are testing this use). Dm me for some more information if you are curious about this form of treatment.

I go to one in Jackson,NJ. She uses both antibiotics and not sure what it's called. Might be herbal but I think there's another name for that type of medication. Sorry can't remember how she refers to it. You know that good old Lyme brain forgets things

My family used to see a lyme specialist in Missouri named Dr Charles Crist and he helped all four members of my family a lot... we don't see him anymore since we are in remission but now we do long distance treatment with the Arizona Naturopathic Center!
