I’ve been very frustrated lately with my chronic illness symptoms. I’ve been taking various medications to help calm some of the symptoms but I believe that I’m coming down with SIBO again which is counteracting my medications to some degree. I take a medication for my IBS-D to help with diarrhea and now I’m having diarrhea again. I take Gas-X for gas and now I’m going back into burping fits and various other unpleasant symptoms. It’s gotten to the point where I’m scared to eat anything since I don’t want to have to go to the bathroom or feel nauseous or end up having worse reflux symptoms and go into burping fits/struggle with flatulence. Is there any way that you guys cope with these symptoms? Any suggestions as to what I can do?

Every disease has its ups and downs, even under medications. You need to pay attention to how long you have them and if they don't go away, you may think about changing medications or even check if there is another problem that is causing them. For now, try to eat only things that won't hurt you, and don't forget to drink enough.
