How do you deal with years-long burnout from multiple chronic illness, both mental and physical?

It’s a slow process, but the more you heal, the more tools you have to continue on!!

I don’t know—when you figure it out, let me know… until then, find something you love and hold onto it. (For me, it’s the webcomic xkcd.)

I kind of figure, if I've survived every moment of this so far, I must be stronger than I feel and might as well keep going.

Think about it with a wise mind! Burnout that has lasted years will not be healed in a day! Just as chronic illness takes away resources gradually, so is healing. Having faith in your future healed strength is such a powerful tool, and bringing yourself back to the present moment to begin that healing is just as important. I’d advise you to rest, figure out the root of things that drain you the most, and use compassion to heal every bit of what hurts inside. <3
