Dealing with Chest Pain and Chronic Illness

So I have both Crohn’s and RA. This week has been weird because I’m dealing with a lot of chest pain and it’s only getting worse. Any tips? I really do not want to go to the ER to be given ibuprofen and a bill.

Hey y’all! Thank you so much for your responses. My PCP saw me same day and Costochondritis is what’s happening. Home resting and avoiding triggers.

What does your pain feel like? It may be nothing and it may be something serious. If you don’t want to go to the ER, at least let your pcp check you

You’re likely experiencing pain due to inflammation in the cartilage connecting the ribs and breast bone. Although I say this is likely, it may not be the case. I would call your primary care Dr and ask for their advice!!
