then maybe it's worth considering switching the meds, after all there are many many alternatives to bupropion

Is that a statement or a question? If a question, for me not, it triggers mania for me at 450 mg but at lower doses it doesn't really cause any side effects. It's my fav antidepressant and I've tried many.
