Dealing with Autoimmune Symptoms: Need Advice
recently had some very "off" lab work, indicating autoimmune. only know not lupus or RA. Have symptoms of dermatomyositis. muscle pain and uncontrollable hives/rash. Allergist can't find the cause for years (was put on xolair) until finally now sent to rheumatologist. any questions I should be asking on 1st visit coming up? muscle pain is located lower back, hips, and legs.

I also have dermatomyositis but my symptom is an incredibly itchy scalp! I have been working on getting rid of the itch for probably close to two years and I still have it. Sometimes it is completely unnerving and I’m ready to pull my hair out. I have not experienced muscle pain yet.
