Dealing with Anxiety: Wanting to be Numb

Hello, I am suffering with anxiety, and have been for awhile now. I honestly just want to be numb, like, completely and utterly numb. I function better when I feel nothing in regards to stress. I don’t want to become emotionally numb, just anxiety numb, if that makes any sense. I just don’t want to deal with it.

I understand that feeling. Anxiety can manipulate a lot of aspects in our lives if we let it. Have you ever considered practicing mediation? That has helped me a ton. It doesn't have to be anything overly complicated. Learning to control your breathing can aid in anxiety management and help clear your thoughts enough to make more rational decisions. Of course some methods work differently than others, but if you want more advice or ideas, my inbox is always open
