Dealing with Anxiety and Change After Getting Married for Asylum

hello, I just woke up with anxiety. I spent the day feeling judged. I just got married after only 8 months to keep my boyfriend in the country. he was here seeking asylum. In that period I was laid off from my teaching career of 30 years, then I retired because I was eligible, then he moved in and we got married. I now have to find a new job. Nothing is the same. I have 2 cats and one struggles being nervous. he brought his cat who is downstairs in the lower level. we haven't introduced them yet. it's just been a ton of change all at once. he really has been good to me most of the time, but I don't do well when he seems impatient with my anxiety. I don't want to mess things up. I've come a long way. I'm writing here because I was hoping it would help

I would talk to people on here and try and find a new friend to share your thoughts with instead of your partner

I hope you are feeling better. Anxiety is the worst. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. Medication, therapy, and God has helped me the most. Sometimes just talking to someone til you calm down can help.
