How do you deal with an active family that does not seem to understand you can no longer keep up?

It's very hard to do so especially when they have no idea the symptoms. And unfortunately this cannot been seen on the outside. Maybe they should read up about the condition and they will understand better. But where there's love there is understanding. Wish you the best.

I personally just keep reminding them that it is not physically possible for me to keep up with a lot of activities. They will either get it or they won't. Just don't push yourself to keep up because your worried about others feelings. You don't need to push yourself into a bad flare up if your fybromyalgia. In the end it isn't worth it. I have found that if I am just honest with people they tend to understand.
