Dealing with Acid Reflux and Stomach Ulcers

So, had a Dr appt earlier this month. I've been having gas trapped in my upper abdomen and doing everything I possibly could to get it out. the best options were water (kinda helped but I had to basically drink a whole bottle one drink at a time to get the burps out) and acv water which got a LOT more out. my Dr even recommended the acv water. so has my mom, because she had her gallbladder removed and I previously had gallstones. so we just assumed "cleanse the gallbladder" WELL plot TWIST I'm 99% certain I have a ulcer in my stomach as I have acid reflux almost none stop, burning pain, and swelling in the stomach area. 🙃 I've had an ice pack on my stomach for two days now just to get some relief. The Dr only cares if it's bleeding. I'm having to redo my diet AGAIN till it no longer inflames itself at the slightest hint of acidity and I'm awake at 2 am trying to drink chamomile tea with an icepack on my stomach just to get some relief in hopes of sleep. sleeping on my left side is impossible currently because it makes it worse for some reason. my right side helps the most oddly enough. but not with the acid reflux. I work 40 hrs a week to pay bills and will gladly take any recommendations for soothing acid reflux (preferable not otc meds) I've had aloe juice, slippery elm, ginger, chamomile, dandelion, licorice, peppermint, so much water, coconut, oats, spinach, tumeric, any and all anti-inflammatories that won't upset it. it's causing my anxiety to go up, which is how I ended up here in the first place.

Holy guacamole! You have tried evert trick in the book! I too had a stomach ulster only thing that helped me was changing my diet but that was back in 2012 😅. I'm sorry you're going through this bull crap. I hope you can get everything settled before your wedding ❤️

I have a year thankfully, my fiance has a stomach ulcer that actually put him in the hospital, so we already follow a pretty strict acidity diet. I just have to give up my lemonade and acv 😭😭 which are the only two drinks I drink other than tea and coffee. Finally got some relief last night! Or enough to get some sleep!

I have stomach inflammation and am experiencing the same thing. Bloating, non stop burping, stomach cramps, severe fatigue, and a pressure/burning pain in my chest that won’t go away. My anxiety disorder makes it worse and no meds have helped. I’m going to try dairy pills to see if that helps and if not, I may have to cut out dairy. Won’t be able to eat my fav foods :( I wish there was a cure. Doctors are no help
