I broke up with my boyfriend on Friday, it's Sunday night. he lives in my neighborhood and rides my bus. I'm not looking forward to seeing him tomorrow. I miss him so much, I really thought I had connected with someone romantically, and then I find out he cheated on me. I'm so hurt.

my heart hurts for you. i’ve been in a similar situation and it really does suck. any feelings you have are OKAY and you are allowed to feel things, but of course put yourself first because everyone deserves loyalty!! for the bus, i usually wear earbuds for music or a game on my phone, it helps even to sound out the little kids. my dms are always open if you’d like to vent :)

I really feel for you, i went through a similar situation a couple months ago and id just keep in mind its good to not deny yourself to feel sad, when you’re aching, you’re aching. It’s important not to bury the emotions from yourself but like other comments mentioned avoiding self isolation and immersing yourself in hobbies is always good if you’re in need of distractions :) my dms are open if you wanna talk or vent<3

Im so sorry you're hurting. Focus on the things you love about your life and about yourself. It's okay to miss him, but put yourself first, and let yourself heal from this.
Being cheated on is one of the worst feelings. I’m sorry you’re going through it. I’ve been through it many times unfortunately. I would say to help you move on cut all contact with him for a few months at least (maybe forever) and I always block or unfriend on social media to avoid delaying healing. If you have to share a ride I’d bring headphones and distract with music or a show. Remember that you didn’t cause any of this to happen. None of this is due to any flaw in you, it’s all about a huge flaw in his character and judgment. I find moments like these are the perfect time to practice self care. Finding new hobbies or doing things you love. Treat yourself to nice meals and movies. Treat yourself the way you treat others too make sure you remind yourself of all the reasons you love being you. Someday you will find someone who loves you in that way, but it’s easier to spot them when we find a way to love ourselves first.

@Cece7 thank you so much, I really appreciate the kind words. It sucks, but I'll make due with it in time. ❤️
thank you so much 💟💟 it sucks, but I'll get through it. Feel free to message me if you ever need anything, you're such a kind soul.
Hey Sweetheart! So I don't have a lot of experience in the dating department (never been kissed and JUST went on my first date, and then the guy broke my heart), but I know how much heartbreak can hurt. I won't say it's easy to get over him, but do the things you love to "get over" him. If you have friends, lean on them. Get support from family. Talk to us on this app. You are a wonderful person and just because this idiot decided to cheat on you doesn't mean you're not worthy of love. 💕
@ChickenGirl1204 good advice
