Daily regimens for POTS syndrome

I’m curious what daily regimens other people are doing for POTS syndrome? And has it been helping?

Can you help? connect today

Hi! The most important thing for me in managing POTS is drinking enough water, which is something I struggle with.

High electrolyte drink (LMNT), compression socks, pillow wedge, eating extra salt and taking salt tablets when I remember, Mestonin. Was due to do a stamina increasing PT thing but my iron is totally depleted so they said not safe til I get iron infusions.

4 grams of sodium & 3 liters of water daily. I take a salt tablet 3 times a day to help get to that sodium goal. Plus aquatic physical therapy and stretching at least once a day (that’s more for fibromyalgia though)

Seen some videos where a doctor mentioned a disease called beri beri that has similar symptoms to pots. It's treated by adding B1 and other B vitamins to your diet. I have definitely felt better after taking B1 and Vitamin B complex

I agree! My functional doctor has me on all the b vitamins and I have been feeling alot better. It’s nice to hear that a lot of the suggestions I am getting I am already doing :)

Gaining weight basically cured my pots. My pots came on when I was eating like 1200 calories a day.
