I was on it for almost a year and it made me a very aggressive and agitated person, the time they took me off it I was back to my mellow self, all these meds work different for everyone.

I've been on 160mg a day for a couple of years. It works well for me. If you need to discontinue it, you need to wean off of it....I did it once and had awful nausea till I restarted it...I didn't order it from mail order soon enough...

I was on it for a few years and decided it wasn't doing anything for me. It took me nearly a year to taper off, but it was worth it.

It wasn't a good fit for me. I was very sick for the first two weeks and then it caused severe constipation, to the point where my drs gave me additional meds for it, I'm off of it now

I have been on it for years because we thought it would help my pain. My PCP instead added a small dose of Lyrica to my Gabapentin and that has seemed to keep pain at bay (along with managing stress 😩). I am currently tapering my Cymbalta under my doctor's watch so that we can try Prozac to see if it helps the anxiety and OCD more.

I cannot give you any pros or cons, but I do know people that have had great success with it. For me however, it made me a rage-aholic. Personally, I think it's worth a try, the benefits can be great. Just be aware of any changes to mood or personality. Have those close to you help you watch for changes. Everyone reacts differently. You never know, unless you try.
