Need advice on possible Crohn's diagnosis

Sometimes you have to be your own advocate. I know it’s hard. If you do have Crohn’s, it is vital to get a diagnosis soon so you can start treatment. And if it’s not Crohn’s, you need to find out exactly what it is. Probably 2 different types of treatment. Mine is in remission after bowel resection and trying different meds. Finally found one that is a Godsend- Imuran. No side effects. Just quarterly labs. You definitely need a gastroenterologist. If your primary care won’t refer, you can try your local health department, to see a clinic Dr. Or CNP. If that doesn’t work, maybe urgent care??? And maybe even calling a gastro yourself and ask to be seen. Hope this helps.
