Creating Inclusive Characters: Seeking Suggestions

Hey! So I make original characters a lot and I’ve been trying to be as inclusive as possible, but I wanted to see if anyone had more suggestions for characters to add. I want to make them so that everyone can relate to them in some way. So far I have characters that are, POC, Autistic, Lgbt, Trans, Deaf, polyamorous, asexual, lactose intolerant, as well as characters that have, depression, anxiety, adhd, did, asthma, vitiligo, severe allergies, and more. I’m also planning to add more characters soon that are Muslim, paralyzed, in wheelchairs, etc. any suggestions?

This sounds awesome and you are awesome for being inclusive! Thank you for including wheelchair users, as well as ppl who use leg braces and or perhaps lofstrand crutches. Ppl who wear diapers and or ostomy bags. Limb differences. Back to wheelchairs for example, ppl who self ambulate using their manual wheelchair have very different wheelchairs than what is drawn for them. There’s a great guide for this on IG which lll try to link to (even if you don’t draw, this really helps to understand). I am an anti-ableism activist and work to spread disability awareness so this is totally my jam. Reach out anytime!!

Type 1 Diabetes and Epilepsy are the two chronic conditions most correlated with depression as well, but nobody without these conditions really thinks much of them

Type 1 diabetes! I’ve never once seen a portrayal of type 1 diabetes in entertainment, other than the book series: babysitters club, that I read as a young kid, but their portrayal was completely inaccurate

sounds good! Would you mind me asking you a few things to make them as accurate as they can?
