Struggling with my CPAP machine and mask

sooo I got a cpap machine and mask a few days ago and first few days i managed with it but then it started to feel like I was suffocating and now i cant even wear the mask...i have to wait until the 16th for a different mask. i feel upset that i have severe apneas its not good for me

I have had sleep apnea since 2004 I also experienced the difficulty learning how to use it change of mass helped me and wearing it during the day was helpful till I got used to wearing it at night

I had a very hard time getting used to my mask. Physically and mentally. I stuck with it and I'm ten years into using one and at 42 I'm far less exhausted then I was at 32. I found it so worth it to keep trying new masks and putting it on as much as I could tolerate. I'm sorry you have to wait so long to try a new mask. That sucks.
