@suffocait you can still get it even with the vaccine. It’s not really preventing the chance of getting it at all…. I also just mentioned above how ridiculous it is to be called an anti-Vaxxer since certain people, like me, got a Tdap vaccine in July. The Covid vaccine isn’t the only vaccine out there. Lmao.

lmaooo @yall anti vaxxers in these comments clearly didn’t pass basic science class and it shows. Please get the vaccine. not only are you preventing yourself from getting COVID but you are preventing your friends/family/coworkers/immune compromised people around you from getting it. Also, wear a mask. If we had done this back in 2020 when the virus first started, we wouldn’t be 3 years into this pandemic

I decided to not get it. I had to go through three different doctors before I got an exemption because of my anxiety. The first doctor I went to I felt was super indifferent about how I felt. And didn’t understand why I was crying when she refused. Idk if anyone else is dealing with doctors who don’t care about their own personal feelings about it or not. And it sucks that people think that I am an anti-Vaxxer because I’m uncomfortable with these vaccines.

I was forced to because of school but I would’ve rather not gotten it. Covid is dumb and the vaccine doesn’t work anyways. I still got covid. The shot is just a way for the government to control us even further

hi! i was on dialysis when the vaccine was first made available. i spoke to my dr and she said it was in my best interest to get it and keep myself protected from serious illness or hospitalization since i was high risk. i would talk to your doctor to see if the benefits outweigh the risks for you personally.

Nobody has been insisting that op get vaccinated, just sharing their experiences. Nobody is idiots here, and you’re not really following the spirit of this app or community. Like my momma always says, if you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all.

Hey Moonie44. I joined this community recently and this is truly the first time I've seen someone call others idiots. I think we can respectfully disagree on things without resorting that. I personally see getting vaccinated as a safeguard not just for myself, but for others in my community who cannot for health reasons.

I got the vaxx bc my job unfortunately and I wish I didn’t. I feel like my immune system is starting over it’s the weirdest thing.

I had anxiety too. I got it and then I didnt get sick, my arm was just sore for a day or 2. I haven't had any side effects but I understand that you're anxious. Until (if you do) you get the vaccine id just follow the other things and stay cautious

What’s the reason for the anxiety about it? I personally felt like not getting the vaccine would be selfish of me because then I’d put more people at risk of being infected by the virus

I’m vaccinated and I only felt sick for like two days but I think it’s better than catching Covid! Also the vaccine won’t prevent you from catching it but it’ll make it easier on your body. I’m gonna get my booster soon

I choose not to. I know I’ve been exposed and never got it or at least didn’t show symptoms. I have other more serious health concerns.

Both my mom and I were advised not to get the vax by our Dr. because of our health issues. Appreciate everyone who can get vaxxed that is though! ❤

I just got my booster. It made me feel fatigued for a day and a slight head cold feeling for about a week, but now I feel better. I totally understand the anxiety around already feeling loaded with medical ailments and not wanting to add to it, but it was only a couple days that it added to it. My fiancé works in the OR and I’ve heard too many horror stories about the lungs of unvaccinated Covid patients that I had to get it. Half my family is unvaccinated, just stay safe, wear masks, distance yourself, and if you get it, go to the hospital if you have any issues breathing because that’s when it gets fatal. The vaccine is excellent at reducing the severity of Covid, and there currently are not treatments to reverse severe symptoms.

i had my last vax in may 2021 and it wasnt too bad in terms of my other conditions just had alot of body aches ,nothing that im not used to 😅. the worst for me was the afternoon/evening post shot but tbh that was kinda my fault bc i didnt eat or hydrate well after getting it. i would highly encourage getting it! the side effects wont be worse than covid :)<3

covid has a high chance of disabling you further. The vaccine does not, just a couple of rough days <3

I have enough medical problems to introduce a potential new one. No v for me. No shame towards the ones that are though. Love for all ♥️
