How has COVID affected your taste and smell?

I’ve had a taste disorder for 3-4 months 6 months after infection. Random things like chicken, sour cream, yogurt, etc all taste rancid.

Lost mine completely for probably a week or so. It’s been 2 months and taste has returned, smell I feel is still not completely normal like it used to be.

I also showed symptoms from early September to late October of 2020 but it didn't truly hit until two weeks between September and October

I was unable to taste Dr. Pepper for quite a while and smells were still wonky. It's been over a year though and I've finally recovered but I guarantee I still have some issues from it that I haven't found yet.

Lost mine for two weeks. Now it is mostly back but not as sharp as it used to be. Just eat on a schedule so you don’t forget/avoid because it has lost the pleasure of sensing it

everything is back to normal now though!

i had covid in august of 2020. never completely lost either sense but they were both changed. i LOVE pickles and could not eat them for almost a year because they tasted so bad
