My anxiety gives me a short temper and quick bursts of anger. I would speak to a psychiatrist and get a proper diagnosis. My anxiety meds help so much to regulate my mood.

This is not something the internet could answer. You need the help of a diagnostic psychologist.
possibly š¤· you'd need more symptoms and context to know
Iām my opinion thatās more indicative of ADHD. Bipolar tends to be more over weeks or months but ADHD swings happen when level of dopamine change (which can happen drastically frequently throughout the day). Iām not a doctor though so Iād definitely recommend more personal research into ADHD and seeing a psychiatrist. Best of luck and feel free to dm me with any adhd questions.
What sort of events/places are triggering the bursts? Emotional dysregulation is common in a lot of different circumstances(ADHD included). Bipolar tends to be longer than quick bursts, a few days and typically manic/depressive.

In my experience, iāve read that bipolar episodes last from 3-14 days; while borderline personality episodes rarely last more than 1-3 days; sometimes multiple times in a day
@SunSeedling My depressive or manic episodes can last weeks or even months. It can also happen to be both at the same time for weeks or months.
