I’m not sure what this would be a symptom of, but this past weekend i didn’t spend a lot of time alone and now i’m getting sensory overload. I’m sure that social exhaustion is common, so does anyone else experience this and does anyone have a way of coping?

I experience what I think is sensory overload and mostly social exhaustion at school a lot. Things like loud noises, background noises, and hearing specific people talking just annoys me and makes me so irritable. Everyday by the end of school I’m in a terrible mood after having to be around so many people I generally dislike or am neutral towards. Having alone time is important and being able to relax or do something you enjoy can really help these feelings subside. Sometimes meditation and focusing on my breathing and surroundings can help me to calm down.
