Coping with Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria

What are your coping methods for rejection sensitive dysphoria? I feel like while I can move past it after like 10 minutes sometimes it gets really bad and I melt down. Is there a way I can avoid feeling it or shorten it? Or is it just something to deal with as it comes?

That really does help. I’m not sure how the replies work on the app as I’m new but I really like the compliments tactic.

It depends on who I'm with. For example if it's my boyfriend, I can tell him point blank how I'm feeling and ask for specific reassurance. If it's my boss at work, I work on taking deep breaths and listing three to five compliments that that person has given me. That way I am reminded that that person does think positively of me. Hope this helps
