I try to identify when my brain is probably overreacting and man that helps very little. I’ll usually try to be open and take it well I the moment then end up freezing up and emotionally disregulating for an hour or so later. It does help to know in the long run that the provided rejection probably isn’t real. Sometimes I also will just ask for reassurance. I’ll be like “my brain is funky and sometimes I get insecure you don’t hate me right?”. Other times when I’m convinced everyone hates me I’ll just put an insta poll on my close friends list for reassurance that my brain is wrong. Not sure if that helps. I don’t deal as much as I just live through it and accept that RSD is a thing.
