My dad is in his 50’s he struggles with schizophrenia and major back pain. He copes by keeping himself distracted, keeping your mind occupied on something else you enjoy can help hopefully! Best wishes!

Hi! I'm currently rly struggling with depression. What helps me is to listen to music and read a book. But for an actual cure idk... I'm not taking any medication cuz I hate and can't trust pills so I wouldn't know... DM me for my depression playlist. I am currently working on making it more happy but rn it's relatable songs, so some are rock/rap etc which I hate but I love and relate to the words. Praying for you 🙏💖

One way to cope is by focusing on yourself and trying to meet your needs. Some people find it helpful to talk about their trauma, while others need things in their life to make them feel safe. Therapy could also be beneficial, if it's an option for you. There are also online counseling options available, such as 7Cups.
