How do you cope with not feeling real all the time? Grounding doesn't seem to help and I always just throw myself into an unintentional dissociative state. I try to pull myself out but at the same time apart of me doesn't want to and feels safer I'm that dissociative state.

I feel safer as well when I'm thinking less or distracting myself. Sometimes I think it's safer to do so. I cope by trying to do my favorite things if my depression isn't weighing down too hard
