any ways to cope with dislocated joints? I popped my knee out yesterday and got it back in but it hurts so bad and I'm not on pain meds

Like what others have said, elevate, ice, NSAIDs, and compression. They make a knee brace that can circulate ice-cold water that works like a charm but I borrowed one so I’m not sure how much they cost
Immobilize, ice and anti-inflammatory meds

once you reduce a dislocated or subluxed joint, it's paramount that you stabilize that joint asap. If you have a splint/brace/compression sleeve, slap that bad boy on immediately and do not take it off for at least 24 hours. as far as pain goes, ice and anti-inflammatories should help significantly reduce the amount of pain you're in. an orthopedist can help you and they can give you any stabilizing gear you could possibly need
I strongly encourage you to see an orthopedic if you can. I had to work with one and wear a full leg brace for weeks after a full knee dislocation back when I was 11
@Natti1076 I have a doc appt on Monday, just looking for something in the meantime
