Coping with Depression: Seeking Advice and Support

i’m seeing a therapist and finding things to do that make me happy and doing that a lot. i think that having healthy relationships and boundaries with those around me has helped a lot but i honestly wouldn’t have been able to do it without my therapist.

Honestly sometimes it's harder than others and I don't feel I can do very much. But it helps me to have things I can distract myself with like seeing friends or playing a new game or watching a stimulating tv show. One of the "easiest" things I've started doing recently is putting on a cute outfit, even if it's really basic I feel good having gotten dressed in something I like looking at. Working from home has made it really easy for me to just sit around in what I slept in so it's definitely a challenge some days, but mustering that little bit of energy always results in me feeling good enough to consider doing other things that make me feel better

I try not to compare myself to others I don’t believe in saying something is harder then others everyone has there own battles we don’t no what trauma we are all facing I also agree with needing to find something enjoyable
