Consulting with Medical Specialists: Functional Medicine Docs

I got my fibromyalgia diagnosis from a functional internal medicine doctor. I really liked him he always listened to me. I switched insurance and had to stop seeing him and I have had issues with most of the doctors I have had since then. I have a good physical therapist now and an OK nurse practitioner. I also have a home nurse from the disability resource center that helps me talk to my medical people when I feel like they are not listening to me

I saw a homeopathic doctor who helped me with my diet more so that any dietician. I was also given natural medicines that really helped heal my stomach. I learned it wasn’t a replacement for scientific based doctors but working along side both has helped me heal the most
