Constant Lung Pain, No Answers

Does anyone else get Lung pain? Constantly? Especially when breathing? It’s constant and hurts but all my X-rays come back normal, I’m really at a loss for what it could be.

Pulmonologist has tried everything and nothing makes it go away

I’m literally having this right now! Like a pain around the heart/lung. I’ve had chest X-rays and everything comes back normal. It can lost from minutes to several hours.

I get a jabbing feeling in my side almost my back under my ribs sometimes but it never lasts more than a day thankfully

Maybe not at all but it could be your nerves right around your lungs.

I have not had an MRI or CT, But my asthma and allergy Doctors haven’t offered 😕 just to give me steroid or magnesium shots which help for a little but comes back in a day or two.

I had that and it was a total mystery for years! My brilliant pulmonologist told me to take Aleve 2x a day and within 2 days it went away!

Have you have an MRI or CT of your lungs? I can’t handle cold air

Severe grief can really be impactful on breathing

Having asthma, breathing cold air or air that I have named, “winter tainted” air really hurts even though my lungs are clear and “healthy”. Also, one of the ways anxiety presents in me, especially after my best friend suddenly died, is pain in my lungs. I genuinely feels like a heart attack in my lungs for hours and sometimes days at a time

I do but mine is probably because I have lupus and that can cause lung inflammation
