Considering Therapy: Is It Worth It?

I'm just wondering. How's therapy if you have one. I've been thinking about therapy and I don't know if I wanna do it but I feel like it would be very good for me. But yeah how's therapy and how's just life in general?

I highly recommend therapy. I absolutely loved having someone i could go to, explain whats going on, and have them not be biased. They give me different ways of coping, different ways of solving problems, and explaining faults and error in what I did without making me feel like I'm a bad person for doing it. I stopped therapy awhile ago. I plan to go back, I definitely miss my last therapist ❤️

therapy saved my life :) i’ve been in therapy since i was 17 and i’m 21 now. i got extremely lucky though and was able to find “my” therapist on the second try. however, once she went on maternal leave i had to find another one and it was so difficult. be sure to do your research on the individuals to make sure you could get along with them or you think that they may be able to understand or relate to you!

Therapy has been life changing for me! I finally found a therapist I really jive with, and she has helped me realize so much about myself. My only problem is how expensive it is, since she doesn't take insurance.

Therapy is great. Definitely may need to see a couple to figure out your best fit. Dont get discouraged if the first one isn’t for you!! It helps me because I have a person who actually will listen to me and not have a biased reaction

Therapy is fantastic if you can find the right therapist. Sometimes the first one you try doesn’t work out, but that’s ok! I’ve recently had to drop my therapist and still haven’t found a new one, but I’m still looking and waiting for one that fits my needs. The act of finding a therapist can be draining for sure, but Psychology Today has a find a therapist feature that I find very useful!

Same here.. I am planning on looking into therapy as well. I want to be sure to pick a good one so I’ve been looking at reviews for different therapist in my area.. I don’t know what’s stopping me.. it’s like I want to go but then something stops me from calling to make an appointment
