Considering Surgery: When Did You Make the Decision?

im 30 at stage 3 osteoarthritis of the lumbar spine... im terrified of surgery but im so tired of always being in pain... i started using medical marijuana and it does help with pain management but it isn't fixing the problem of course... would surgery be a smart route to take or no?... im so scared

I had my stimulator implanted 6 years ago because I was having a nonstop headache.

I'm going to be asking my doctor to request current imaging. My spine feels like it's gotten worse. I'm afraid of surgery. Especially being under 30yo

I couldn’t sleep because of my neck; the MRI said that there was no space for a cortisone injection and that my spinal cord was injured and in danger of becoming deformed. I had no choice but to opt in for C5 neck disc replacement. Currently my L4 and five are 80% displaced but I’m nowhere near the pain threshold I was with my neck so I’m waiting.
