Is it wrong to consider myself disabled? (adhd, depression, anxiety, agoraphobia)

@Freya83 yeah! I totally feel like I have a disadvantage compared to healthy people, but I feel like calling myself disabled would be rude to people who have even more debilitating illnesses?

@PuddingStone I totally get it. You want to feel validated that your also going through something that makes life unbearable sometimes. At the same time though I think having mental problems like anxiety or panic attacks are even worse. With people having physical symptoms and disorders etc. Atleast you can usually find a diagnosis and treatment but with mental illness it’s so completely unpredictable because you never know what symptom could physically manifest. I just wish medical people would realize that were not all the same. Sorry that was more of a rant

ADHD is considered a disability, and depression and anxiety can be considered disabling
