Confused about my mental health diagnosis

I've been told by a psychologist that they think I have prodromal schizophrenia/schizoaffective and I'm very confused. I have so many diagnosis I don't know which is "right" and which isn't.

Schizophrenia and schizoaffective can often be mistaken for DID in younger adults. Many of the symptoms overlap. It actually took my mental health professionals until I was 40 to tell the difference. Then I got an intense mental health team and went over all of my symptoms as part of a whole. My best advice is to ask your psychiatrist for clarification of exactly what is going on. That way diagnoses are clear and kept to a minimum by combining those that overlap. Try to keep a positive attitude and search for the knowledge you crave. 🙏
