I am 16. Ever since I was 12, I felt like something was wrong with me. I have been researching about different mental disorders and I match up with the symptoms of BPD very well. To put it shortly, these symptoms tend to interfere with my personal life constantly. It can get so bad to the point where I have went to suicidal/homicidal ideation for relief when it comes to my anger or sadness. I have seen content targeted towards individuals with BPD and I seem to relate every time. Is anyone here a teen who has been diagnosed with BPD? If so, how can I tell if I am just experiencing being a teenager or if these symptoms are a wake up call to get help/get a diagnosis? I am asking because I am genuinely so confused.
