How to Confirm Seronegative RA Diagnosis?

How do I really make sure I have seronegative RA? At times I feel like I’m being misdiagnosed. Started with I have lupus then No is not lupus is fibromyalgia then is seronegative RA. Any input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Sometimes I think it’s more important to focus less on what the diagnosis is and more on treating the symptoms. I’m in the same boat where it could be RA or it could be lupus. But ultimately the important thing is feeling better.

Hey.... I'm going through the same exact thing. My rheumy says I'm borderline for RA, Lupus and Psoriatic Arthritis, etc..... All because my blood work does not have the RA score/factor!!! It's so frustrating and I just want to scream just make a decision please!!!

~ Girl, I feel ya. When my rheumatologist wasn't looking at the whole picture, I sought out other help. It's possible to have RA without a rheumatoid factor. I'm going through a more definitive work-up. This arthritis Dr. has done extensive blood tests, ultrasound of my joints, and a very detailed patient history. I see him again in about a week. There IS help, but it's a shame that people have to search for the right doctors that suit their needs. Good luck, and God bless. 🙏
