Get a second opinion if you can afford it

Get a second opinion if you don't feel it's accurate.

I agree a second opinion can never hurt, but also I would as your provider for how they came to that conclusion

I have 35+ years in " mental healthcare " , and even I knew that my diagnosis was "wonky" / wrong ... but, as in all branches of medicine, you'll find SOME( NOT ALL) doctors that develop "know it all / GOD" complex ... and won't listen to a thing that you ( the patient) say I finally found a doctor and a therapist who did just that LISTENED... YOU have to be " Pro active in your own healthcare meaning... you have to " STAND UP " FOR YOURSELF ...MAKE THEM LISTEN!! ( I'M DONE OFF MY SOAP BOX)

Lots and lots of research and talking to doctors and different meds. Also there's a test you can take where you spit in a tube and they test your DNA to find the right meds
