Do Compression Socks Help You Sleep Better?

Does anyone wear compression socks when they sleep, and have you noticed a benefit if you do?

I don't wear my normal stockings at night because it cuts off my circulation and feels sore, same if I'm lying down for long periods of time. But, I have 'night stockings' with a lower compression strength that are kind of like oven mitts, and they definitely help.

I would be interested in hearing how this works for you if you try it. I had thought about doing it but thought I had read somewhere not to sleep in compression for some reason. *sigh* seems like there are always opposing opinions.

I did a little bit of research into it, and most of what I saw said that it's perfectly safe to wear them at night as long as they're not too tight. And then everything else was split on whether or not it would help.
