Introducing Myself and Asking What Brought You Here

I'm new here, HELLO TO ALL! So I'm just wondering what brought ya'll here?! For me: Having the opportunity to chat with individuals experiencing the same issues, or medical problems, as myself. I feel like I'm "not normal" but I NEVER feel good and others notice around me.

Just got tired of being alone in my journey, keeping up a facade for everyone. I needed a place to be open about my struggles.

πŸ™Œ this. I feel I wanted a more honed in circle of people who understand the diagnosis similar to mine as well. Those who dont understand or arent trying to i just say go *bleep* off

I found an ad on a game and wondered if there was anyone else with similar problems. Little did I know that this app is a great place for peer support!

What brought me here is honestly simple. I thought I was alone in my mental health journey. As I was playing a mobile game I saw an add for this app n told myself "eh, couldn't hurt" so I downloaded it. I put up a post shortly after, n the responses I got showed me I'm not alone, that there r ppl out there with the same problems as me.

Hi! Nice to meet you. I remember this quote I read in Bipolar Magazine (yes, there's a magazine for bipolar people). It said "normal is just a setting on the dishwasher". Who's really "normal" anyway, right? I totally agree with and relate to the statement above me. If you'd like to chat some time, feel free to massage me. Hope you find what your looking for here, I know I did! Have a great day.😁

Hello I am bipolar too. We just think differently than others. I notice I have a lot more attention to detail than others do and I use it to my advantage in my work. Different is not bad it can actually give you and advantage over others to not be the same as them. Hang in there πŸ™

I love some aspects of bipolar too! like I can focus and put all my energy into certain things when I get into them. I also feel really connected to my spiritual side in mania and feel like I have a meaningful connection to nature and the universe.
