Need advice for bleeding and irritation around colostomy bag stoma
hi, I didn't know what one to select for this but I've had a colostomy bag since I was a little toddler and the past few years I have been prone to infections due to it probably being on so long. it bleeds around the stoma a lot and I did use guaze to help stop it, which it did; except it moved to a different spot. it's always bleeding and irritated and I don't know what to do. when I took the gauze off it made my skin extremely itchy and irritated so I can't use that again.

@bun, I did repost this one, without a specific category selected and better detail. But I do not know the full story behind my colostomy bag, all I know is that I've had it a very long time. I don't think it's part of a disorder though.

is there a specific condition that causes you to need a colostomy bag? if so, have you tried searching it on here? sorry you’re struggling, i’m just not sure if this is the perfect forum for this issue love. good luck, i hope you feel better soon!

I'm sorry that sounds really hard to deal with. Neurotic disorders deals with psychological trauma and dissociation. Is that the fit you where looking for?
