I have to say everyone’s body is different x I had surgery in 2020 to remove endo and the coil was my “treatment” however I didn’t stop bleeding till October because they put me on extra contraceptive pills . It didn’t help with my pain and even though I don’t bleed I still get all the pain in pelvis ? Back , legs and chest and when I go for a number 2 so it’s a tricky one x

However I’ve seen it stop peoples bleeds and pain so it really depends on you x I’ve been on contraception since I was 11 and nothing ever stoped it until now and I’m 21 . That was combination of Mirena coil and progesterone only pill x

i had the coil for endometriosis and it didn’t make a difference for me, i was still in pain constantly and i bled continuously so they put me on the contraceptive pill with the coil. I recently had the coil out as it wasn’t helping me personally. However everyone is different so you never know it may help you?

It is not a treatment, it is a management style. Only treatment that exists is excision, everything else is management.

yeh i meant it as "treatment" as that is what it is referred to when i go the hospital obviously it's not a definite treatment
