for me a little bit is ok but i always have to drink more water if i’m having it. i’ve had a kidney transplant and caffeine is a diuretic which can cause dehydration, so def not good for the kidney. i also have tachycardia and it makes me feel like garbage if i have any so i try to stay away

My daughter's neurosurgeon told her for one cup of coffee it takes 3 of the same size water to replace what is taken away, which dehydrates your body causing pain

Im not supposed to have any caffeine per recommendation of my cardiologist due to tachycardia. I will have a small cup once a day which is a huge improvement. But also have switched to matcha and decaf teas some days. Trying to wean myself down lol. But I've noticed even having a lot less has helped.

I had to quit caffeine entirely due to my tachycardia. Very tough. I just drink a gallon of water with lemon every day for my kidney stones I am already fatigued so it is hard without caffeine but it has been a year for me and I do feel healthier
