I have been diagnosed with cirrhosis, but have little to no pain... no symptoms really besides swelling and ascites. I see hepatologist Wednesday. Any advice/words of encouragement?

It is a sneaky disease and life threatening even with no pain. You will be giving lots of vials of blood for the Dr to analyze and maybe an ultrasound, if you haven’t already. Hopefully your kidneys will respond to diuretics and your swelling will subside. Follow the doctor’s advice and make sure you are getting the nutrition you need to avoid weakness and loss of mobility.
