Prior to 2016 I suffered with and diagnosed with chronic sinusitis with sinus migraines and infectious. When I would get my cycle it made symptoms worse. In 2016 i had a hysterectomy now I no longer have the migraines and light sinus infections however my symptoms have worsened to constant bad breath and drainage and the feeling that something is always stuck in my throat and ear throbbing only on the right side. I’ve had my tonsils removed in 2018 thinking that may help…but nothing :( I’ve been to several ENT’s, a rheumatologist and dentist and nothing has worked. I can deal with most of my symptoms but the bad breath is causing anxiety and depression. Does anyone else suffer with similar symptoms? If so what helps you?

My ENT actually recently discussed with me that hormones affect the sinuses greatly. I wonder if that is causing some of your sinus symptoms. I have migraines and chronic sinusitis and I only use nasal spray and OTC painkillers.

Ohhhh, Girl, I am so sorry!😥 Chronic sinusitis can be such a drag. I have similar issues. It seems like at some point, when none of the docs can help, we find ourselves grasping at straws. And sometimes/a lot, we keep drawing the shortest straw. As I was reading what you wrote, I immediately thought, "tonsils! Of course!" Then you said you'd had them removed already. Do you do saline nasal rinses on a regular basis? Like, daily? Sometimes that is effective. But if you've been to more than 1 ENT, I don't really know what to tell ya. Do you have a lot of nausea? This might seem random, but perhaps you should see a neurologist. If that kind of halitosis is persistent with ear involvement, it seems like neuro should get involved. Plus, I wonder if it is hormonal. Weird things happen when our hormones are whacked out. What about a dentist as well? They deal with more than just teeth as I'm sure you know. I don't know, I've had neurological involvement (among a bevy of other things) in my own life since infancy, and this just seems like a multi-disciplinary (several different specialists) issue.

I've had chronic sinusitis and am scheduled for a clean out surgery on my right side. Scan shows completely blocked. I've not had the complications that you have. I hope you can get some answers.
