Dealing with Chronic Pain While Walking

hi everyone! I have a whole host of illnesses but the ones I'm referring to in this post is my EDS, POTS and fibro. I'm really starting to struggle walking, pain is mainly in my feet, knees, hips, back, shoulders and neck (almost everywhere lol). My question for you all is what do you do for pain while walking?

I use a wheelchair most of the time, and platform crutches with AFO braces for short distances

Mobility aids are wonderful! My friend has severe POTS, EDS and a plethora of other issues. She uses a cane and wheelchair regularly! Her Tik tok handle is @reina_boo and she posts advice from her experiences!

thank you that's super helpful! I have a pretty judgemental family and mobility aids is a touchy subject but I'm gonna try a cane today when me and my bf go for a walk

i have a cane that folds out into a little seat so i can sit down and rest anywhere. and also just walking with the cane in general helps my balance/keeps my weight off whichever side hurts more
