Struggling with Chronic Pain and Mental Health

Hello. I have been suffering from pain disorders and anxiety and depression since early childhood. I am finding that the older I get, the harder it is to get adequate exercise and sleep. Does anyone have any advice?

Even gentle exercise like walking is good. Swimming is also good, especially if there is a warm water therapy pool in your community. Yoga and stretching good too. You can only do what you can do and that's okay. Be gentle with yourself always and in all ways. 💜💜💜💜

If you’re going the medical route, of all the things I’ve taken for sleep, gabapentin has been a God send. It helps my muscles and calms my mind and I always get amazing sleep. I hope you find something that works!

Melatonin, essential oils and prescription sleep med is what I use for sleep. For exercise I have started where for 10 min in the morning when I get up and again at lunch(thats the hardest one to do) I walk around the house straightening, arranging, etc. Then once I can do that I will increase it by 5 min every week or day which ever fits best. That is my plan. Now whether I do it or not is a whole nother can of worms.
