Struggling with Chronic Illness and Medication Reactions

I have been bleeding and in a constant flare up for years now and trying different medications I always seem to have a reaction to them or they simply don't work. I'm slowly becoming hopeless and really don't know if I'll ever get into remission in my life. I've never been into remission and this just drags me down everyday because I miss work then stress about money and then stress causes more of a flare up:(

I’m dealing with the same symptoms. I was against medicine and treatment because I didn’t understand the severity of the condition. I’ve had digestive issues since I can remember. I’m on steroids now since having to go to ER and will continue to be open to treatment. Dealing with UC is very hard especially having such a get up and go, make things happen, and driven spirit. But I know now is the time to focus on treatment and healing, however that looks like. Im learning to be patient with myself. I hope this helps
