Premier protein shakes! They are low sugar and carb but high protein and are super filling. They have the texture of Water and a bunch of different flavors so anyone who is texture/smell/taste sensitive they are friendly. I have a bunch of conditions that limit what I can eat and adhd so I forget to eat frequently and OCD so as long as you can have small amounts of dairy it’s basically the perfect consumable.

The kate farm shakes were recommended by my GI, they have a ton of vitamins and nutrients and also pea protein and she said they can be used as meal replacements when I can’t tolerate food. They also come premade so i just refrigerate and drink!

Huh, I'll have to look into that. I have such trouble getting nutrition since so much food makes me sick, and/or is expensive, and/or is too difficult to prepare.

I agree. Homemade nutritional shakes are great! They fill you up. I make ones with spinach as a base ingredient for anemia. My favorite recipie is the spinache avocado banana.

@Rei they can be. There are various types. Some are high protein, some include all your vitamins, and some are for absolutely no sugar diets/lifestyles..

Are nutritional shakes just protein shakes to keep you full or?

I usually keep atkins shakes (i don’t like the taste of protein powder and these are great taste-wise and still super high in protein!) around for days when my nausea gets bad and i don’t feel like eating anything but i need something to put on my stomach to help relieve the hunger! I also keep a purse with everything I need for my little emergency go bag near me at all times ready for whatever i need, wherever i need!

I keep drink powder (liquid iv) in my bag and usually a bag of salty potato chips, it's good for extra dizzy spells. Also, compression clothing (socks especially) helps a little

I love pickles. Popcorn is great too because it is usually filling. I eat pretzels from time to time. I usually make a menu and cook one day of the week. I put things away in the fridge or freezer and when it’s time for dinner all I have to do is reheat.
