I'm right there with ya Hun, I am so tired of my weight but I'm so depressed and tired all the time I just can't get myself to get up and exercise at home. I'm trying to go to the gym but they are expensive rn. It's okay to not be okay tho. I try and at least clean and I count that as a workout cuz your moving and sweating haha.

While I have never been medically overweight, when I was put on antipsychotics I gained about 50 pounds within the space of a year. It was uncomfortable to go through such a short, dramatic weight shift. I never realized I was super confident at my weight until I suddenly lost that stable weight. While I have not lost all the weigh I gained, I have taken some of it off and feel a little bit more comfortable in my skin. It was largely just making small, sustainable changes in my diet and exercise routines. I try to plan healthy meals ahead of time so I'm not tempted to eat junk food on the go, and I exercise when my schedule permits. It helps to have someone checking in who's on the same health journey so you can hold each other accountable. Taking great care of yourself can really help with depression, so find a few small steps you can take towards that.

i’m also rlly struggling with the weight gain. When i was in a good place a couple of years ago working out i believe was a big part of it. Once i started building stamina it got easier. But now i find myself in a place where i cant make myself right now :(. it’s all about getting started and getting the ball rolling. Don’t work out to loose weight. After about a month the dragging feeling to work out dissipated for me. But like i said i know getting that motivation is hard bc i haven’t been able to find it again and it’s been a year. Try starting small, going for a walk, and if u don’t like leaving the house (like me). Do 20 squats before bed, something small. Once those get easy increase. You can do this i have faith in you<3
