Looking for Connection with Chronic Illness

Hi all! I want to say good morning to everyone here from the East Coast of United States and well… Basically I’m new here. Isolated with my conditions and looking forward to meeting new folks that relate. Chronic illnesses equal loneliness big time. does anybody have any suggestions on meeting people that understand? I’m finding it very difficult during this pandemic and with all my chronic stuff.

I’m pretty isolated as well. I’m young and living in an area where it’s 90% retirement communities and struggling to find people remotely my age let alone who understand my health challenges and limitations. And isolation is not helping my mental health to say the least. I’m happy to talk anytime.

I think you are in the right place! Online communities for people going through similar challenges, are a good way to “meet” people and get info. Plus you can write when you feel up to it and rest when you need to
