What Caused My Chronic Illness?

Do you know what caused your chronic illness? I have POTS, MCAS, and hearing loss and I do not know what caused any of them. I have heard some things about Lyme Disease causing these things but my doctor doesn’t think I should get tested. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Mine started from a tooth infection and antibiotics. 9 full on anaphylaxis attacks before they got it better under control. But now I am having allergic arthritis from my Xolair. One year without anaphylaxis from Xolair

I tested positive for Epstein-Barr virus antibodies meaning I had the virus in the past (no telling exact time frame and I probably had no clue at the time) and is a possible link to long term autonomic disorders

For me, it was a bad mold exposure (very high levels of stachybotrys and chaetomium) and I’m 80-90% better now after treatment with a functional MD / mold detox protocol

what did they have you take for you to get better. My mast cell is due to mold as well high levels of stachybotrys. I’m on everything I can tolerate for mast cell but nothing yet for mold. I have a specialist who wants me to try binders starting with charcoal but I’m to scared.

From what I have learned, sometimes people can pinpoint root cause and then there’s some that never find out root cause. For me, they have run an extensive amount of tests and they don’t know how I got POTS and MCAS.
