For me the hardest part is dealing with drs that dismiss my symptoms, concerns. I've been told many times I am physically fine, it's in my head. Ya, 90% of body covered in hives for years, aseptic meningitis, all in my head.

I deal with fatigue quite often

I think "stress and mental difficulty" could've been broken down quite a lot, but it might've taken a licensed therapist to do so.

Physical pain is so draining, medication is hard to get.

More then likely your inflammation markers are high. Fatigue is the number one symptom of this.

I wish we could undo our vote b change it because I instinctually clicked "disabilities" because my chronic illnesses dISABLE me and affect LITERALLY EVERYTHING 😭 but like, i didn't even read the others 😭😂

My relationships with those I love are affected most of all I think.

        301d

@ChaosEnergy I didn’t think about that. Yeah that’s affecting me right now a lot.

There is no part of my life at all that my mental health hasn’t affected, from my ability to hold down a job to my relationships with my wife and others.

For me, my entire way of thinking has changed, so far as my handwriting has become unrecognizable (from the before times). So having to learn how to learn again has really sucked.

I’m bipolar and schizophrenia for my disability

    • OurLadyOfChaos

      298d

Idk I mean the stress and the pain feed each other... Same as the nausea and migraines with the stress. So it's all a vicious unending circle.

      • Catlady121427

        295d

@OurLadyOfChaos boy do I know that one

    • Pulvi

      297d

Basically it affects everything, my ability to function is in the gutter.

    • faexay

      296d

Work I do well enough on the others to get through, but not being able to hold a job at 23 is the most humiliating thing because disability won't come through, everyone around me thinks I'm a lazy kid

      • Catlady121427

        295d

@faexay that's how my family is but I at least have a very loving husband

Employment. I had to quit my first job because the stress made my tics so bad I couldn't do my job anymore. I haven't gotten another job since because I've been so scared it will happen again.

    • EryngoBragh

Employment. Employers aren't understanding. They seem to think it's a "rash with some itching" In ALL of my interviews I disclosed that I have multiple psoriatic diseases and that there would be some dr appointments, creams, etc. Two weeks in is the longest they last. People complain about the mess (usually other employees 🙄) Or that my constant scratching "grossed tem out". Employers never stand up and end up firing the emplyee with the condition, because they are "the person causing the disturbance.

My dad doesn’t care about my negative feelings 😥 I have autism and bipolar and ocd scrupulosity and he says those are just excuses 😥

        295d

@Adam_Gaming_Pianist how long til you can get out of his house?

    • JuliusSeizure

      296d

This is a hard choice because it’s honestly all of the above to some extent, but I said disabilities. I can’t drive for six months if I have a seizure. Thankfully my seizures are few and far between, but when they do happen, it’s like my life goes on hold for six months. It really sucks when I’m seizure free for six months, I start driving again, and then I have a seizure again. 😭

      Most of the options tbh

I decided to go back on medication for my ADHD. At first it seemed to help a lot but now I’m not sure if it’s really helping. I may try to get off after this bottle🤦🏽 I think just really need therapy and some self healing. I picked up reading again and I think this may help a little. I know there are a lot of other natural things that can as well, but does anyone have any pointers?

I have social isolation and loneliness because I'm stressed and I'm stressed because I'm isolated and lonely. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Soooo. I can't win

I find it affects my endurance, like my physical ability to push through the work day. I'm not exactly fatigued, it just feels like I'm being raked across a cheese grater.

    • saviormachine

All of the above, honestly. Just about every aspect of my life is affected.
